People don't always like to share their age. I am noticing this as I get older myself. But there really is a surefire way to see what end of the spectrum people fall on and David and I are clear examples of the difference when we answer the following question:
Who is Uncle Jesse?
His answer....
My answer...
Mine is clearly the better one no matter how much David begs to differ.
Hey, thanks for you comment. Can you believe he is still traveling? He won't actually arrive in Kapoeta (the final destination) until Friday night! My heart feels kinda like jelly right now. Phillipians 4 has been running through my head and heart the last few days.

That's so funny. It was actually taking a moment for the pictures to load and so I read your blog before I saw the pictures. First thing that came to my mind: Uncle Jesse from Dukes. Cuz I'm old.
Do you think he's hurting for income? I mean, wouldn't it be less humiliating to just go get a part-time job over at Target for the Christmas Season? Poor guy.
Okay, I'm old since Uncle Jesse is definitely from the "Dukes of Hazard" and that second guy is sooooo Blackie from "General Hospital". Totally had a crush on him from the very beginning. He'd play those drums and.....sigh.
I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteUncle Jesse had the best hair
I was totally with you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that I haven't made it down stairs to make the coffee yet. I may have done a spit take.
ReplyDeleteNicely done.
And for the record, if I was asked the question, I'd answer with DZ.
Uncle Jesse will always be Denver Pyle to me.. I mean we were PRACTICALLY best friends!

ReplyDeleteSo, I am David's same age, but I thought of John Stamos too. How funny, must be that he's HOT.
